THERE is an appeal for witnesses after a fatal collision on the A350 in Melksham which happened earlier this month.

It happened on the Beanacre Road shortly before 6pm on January 18 and involved a grey Skoda Superb and a pedestrian, named by his family as 60-year-old Thomas Collis, who sadly died from his injuries.

The police investigation is currently ongoing and they have been examining dash cam footage.

This has identified a number of vehicles which could have drivers or passengers who witnessed something which could assist our enquiries.

These are:

- A silver Mark 5 Vauxhall Astra Estate (2004-2010)

- A black 2008 BMW 3 series convertible with a hard top and possibly black alloys.

- A white Ford Transit Connect van with a roof rack and non-standard alloys.

- A Hyundai Kona, colour unknown

- A white Mercedes Sprinter crew cab

- A white Suzuki Swift.
