A TEMPORARY dispersal order has been put in place to try and deal with ongoing issues of antisocial behaviour.
Cleveland Police made the order to tackle problems in the Trimdon Avenue area of Acklam, Middlesbrough.
The 48-hour order was granted on Saturday and will finish at 7pm on Monday.
There have been reports of groups of youths meeting and causing trouble in the area, including having organised fights.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Should you be suspected to be engaging in anti-social behaviour, you will be instructed to leave for up to 48 hours.
"Failure to adhere to this notice can result in arrest and further action being taken against you.
"No residents should have to suffer this kind of behaviour.
"Cleveland Police will take robust action where we can."
Residents are encouraged to get in touch with officers if they witness or are subject to any anti-social behaviour.
