Celtic eye Eliasson
Celtic are considering a move for Bristol City winger Niclas Eliasson with Lazio and Villarreal also thought to be keen on the 24-year-old Swede. The player is out of contract this summer, but it is thought the English Championship club does have a further year's option on him. Bristol City manager Lee Johnson confirmed contract extension talks amongst City and the player are ongoing. (Sunday Mail)
Defoe takes pay cut to stay at Rangers
Jermain Defoe, who has agreed a one-year contract with Rangers once his deal with Bournemouth ends this summer, has taken a 65% pay cut to stay with the Scottish Premiership club beyond the end of his current loan spell. Speaking on the move Defoe said: “I’m just delighted, to be honest. When I first signed, as I’ve said many times, it was an easy decision because I’ve always known about the size of this club, the history and the great players.
“So to get it all sorted out and secure my future here for another year is really special." (Sunday Mail)
Victor Wanyama eyed by Toulouse
Toulouse are thought to be keen on signing Victor Wanyama on loan from Tottenham, according to reports in the French media. Neil Lennon said that the former Celtic player 'was in his thoughts' but that wages may be a stumbling block.
After being knocked back by Bayern Munich over Michael Cuisance, Toulouse will turn their attentions to signing Victor Wanyama on loan from Tottenham, according to @LesVioletsCom #COYS

Fyvie backs Cosgrove
Fraser Fyvie has backed former teammate Sam Cosgrove to go further in the game. Speaking to The Herald he said: “When he first came up I went and saw a few games and I thought he’s very raw but since then his goal tally has spoken for itself but now he has started to bring people into play. He’s not as rash, he’s getting into better positions where he should be as a striker. His hold-up play is getting better and better and it can only improve. He’s still young.” (The Herald)

Lennon hails Edouard
Celtic manager Neil Lennon hailed "talismanic" Odsonne Edouard after the striker played despite a toe injury to inspire the Scottish Premiership leaders to victory over Ross County. The French striker scored two goals with Lennon saying that the player should be fit for Wednesday. "We were concerned he wouldn't do the 90 minutes so it has worked out okay. He had an incredible impact when he came on and should be okay for Wednesday [away to St Johnstone]."
Simunovic set for contract talks?
Jozo Simunovic is poised to hold talks about his future, with his contract due to end this summer, although the Scottish champions have the option of a 12-month extension according to reports (Various)
