Four personnel from the US Air Force (USAF) 420th Air Base Group, based at RAF Fairford, visited Marlborough Fire Station on Friday, November 2, as part of a visit to Marlborough organised by the town council. The visitors met the station commander, Keith Flippance, plus two other retained firefighters, Dan Collins and Adie Cripps, and saw first-hand the specialist equipment required to meet the demands of a modern-day fire and rescue service. They also heard about the varying nature of the work undertaken and praised the dedicated team for the commitment it showed to the community.
