HE's behind you - oh no he isn't, oh yes he is!
The familiar refrain may be heard next week by local theatre group Southwick Entertainers.
They are performing 'Dick Whittington' at Southwick Village Hall from January 23-25 at 7.30 pm, with a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday.
This well-loved traditional tale is played out by pantomime hero Dick and his trusty cat Tommy who, with the help of an odd assortment of friends and the Good Fairy Bowbelle, have to defeat the evil King Rat to save London Town.
Lots of fun and games ensue along the way before Dick can declare his love for Alice Fitzwarren and become the Lord Mayor of London.
A spokesman said: "Come along and join us for a fun-filled performance and add your voices to the boos and hisses!"
Tickets are £8 for adults, £6 for seniors and children. Call 01225 761315 or go to www.southwickentertainers.co.uk
