THIEVES struck at a home in Ogbourne St George, on the edge of Marlborough, on Monday, when a house in Chiseldon Road was broken into between 12.50pm and 1.35pm.

A number of valuables were stolen including watches, jewellery, cufflinks and a number of sentimental items, as well as cash. Some of the items stolen include an amber bracelet with a large caramel coloured stone set in silver, an amber ring in a tear drop shape, three pairs of cufflinks and two silver filigree brochettes, one in the shape of a butterfly and one in the shape of a flower.
