SANDRA Baggs died on December 27, aged 71, she was born in South Wales in 1948.

Her parents both died when she was a baby so she was in foster care for a few years and also in children’s homes throughout her life.

She was quite a rebel and liked to run away. She was also sent away to practice reading and writing as she wasn't taught the skills she needed but her grandparents helped out.

She was in a convent for a while before being moved somewhere else so she had a hard upbringing.

Sandra was in Holt Care Home were she met her husband Ronald Baggs who was a gardener and they married when she was 18. She had three children her son Rodger who sadly died at birth and she had her daughters Vicky and Sarah.

She has four grandchildren and two great grandkids that she adored.

Sandra worked at the factory Nestle in Staverton in the cannery when was about 18.

Sandra then worked at Clarendon school as a cleaner and John of gaunt school as a dinner lady both back in the late 80s and early 90s. She also volunteered at the St John Ambulance back in the early late 80 early 90s .

Sandra had lots of different jobs through the years she worked at Bowyers then she had a job as a lollipop lady at Studley Green School for 35 years. She used to love it dearly because every second person would stop and chat to her.

But she retired to look after her husband.

Sandra loved to talk to everyone even if she didn’t know them. She knew everyone and everyone knew her.

Her hobbies were she loved to knit, adult colouring and go out on the bus to Swindon to see her sister in law.

She loved gnomes ans elephants and she loved going to her day centres Honeypot, Studley Green and Maple Grove each week and going into town with her friend Pat.

She went to Swindon on the bus to see her in laws Brenda and Martin most weeks.

She is going to missed by everyone and she used to be out the front of her bungalow everyday.

She was one in a million and was always smiling. She was loved by a a lot of people.

The funeral is on January 29 at the Semington crematorium at 11.30 am. Sandra will arrive in horse drawn carriage everyone is welcome and family flowers only. The wake is being held at Wesley Road Club,
