A dog that had previously bitten a postman will be destroyed by order of the Swindon magistrates after it bit a woman.
Coco, Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, attacked the woman on Queens Road in Royal Wootton Bassett on July 27.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court, Dominic Sturgess, 34, of Saffron Close, admitted being the owner of a dog that was dangerously out of control.
Magistrates ordered that the dog was destroyed, saying it was a danger to public safety and that it had previously bitten a postman.
He was ordered to pay £100 compensation.
