FOUR people suffered minor injuries in a crash near the Royal Bournemouth Hospital on Thursday night.
Long delays were reported around the area as a result of the crash, which happened shortly before rush hour, and motorists were urged to avoid the road.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "We were called just before 4.40pm on Thursday to reports of a road traffic collision in Castle Lane East in Bournemouth.
"Fire and ambulance also attended.
"Two vehicles were involved.
"Four people sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
"Both vehicles needed to be recovered and road was reopened just before 6.10pm."
