TOYS and gifts have been coming in thick and fast for Chippenham Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal, in conjunction with the Gazette and Herald.
The charity, based on Foghamshire, have been given enough gifts so far to support around 160 families who would usually struggle to afford presents for their children.
Community support worker Miriam Dann said: "It's amazing to see the generosity of people year on year.
"We've received some fantastic gifts so far like expensive Lego sets and remote control cars.
"If we can keep this momentum up that would be just fantastic. We want to see more roll in!"
The toy appeal finishes on December 20. Toys can be given at Wilko's Chippenham and Devizes, Sainsbury's Chippenham and Calne, Argos Chippenham, Goodman Warren Beck Chippenham and directly to the Salvation Army Chippenham. Food can be given at Morrisons and Co-op Chippenham.
