SEVEN members of staff at a professional body in Westbury have donated more than £200 worth of essential items to the Warminster Foodbank.
The team at the 5,000-member Institution of Engineering Designers organised a reverse advent calendar throughout November to collect food and other essential items.
They donated nine large bags of shopping to the Warminster & District Foodbank on Tuesday, December 10 to help people in need during December.
Jo Winslow, the Institution’s training and education manager, said: “Not only did we collect food items, but other essential household items like toothpaste, toilet roll, shampoo and J-cloths.
"We also ensured that there were Christmassy items including Christmas puddings, advent calendars and a whole shopping bag full of mince pies.
"The volunteers at Warminster Foodbank were overwhelmed and very grateful for our donation. Not a bad collection for a team of seven staff."
