A WATCH worth £7,500 was stolen from a jewellers in Salisbury.

Police are appealing for information to help locate those responsible. They do not believe the thieves live local to where the watch was taken.

At approximately 2.30pm on December 4, officers attended Allum & Sidaway Jewellers in Minster Street following a report of a theft.

A man and woman entered the shop and are believed to have removed the Breitling watch from a cabinet and made off with it while the member of staff was distracted serving another customer.

CCTV images of the couple were circulated via police and local CCTV operators but they were not located.
