A WOMAN was arrested following an assault in a bar in Trowbridge on Friday night.
Officers were called to the Trowbridge Sports Bar in Castle Street at around 10pm following an incident where a member of staff, a woman in her 40s, had suffered an injury to her neck.
She was taken to Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment to a cut to her cheek and neck and was later discharged.
Officers attended the scene and arrested a 19-year-old woman from Trowbridge on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
She was questioned and has since been released under investigation while police enquiries continue.
A police spokeswoman said: “Our investigation is ongoing.”
