FOUR Swindon GPs which suffered under the management of IMH will be overseen by new management from next Wednesday.
Services at Abbey Meads Medical Centre, Penhill Surgery, Crossroads Surgery and Moredon Medical Centre will be provided by the Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from November 27.
A spokesman said: "There is a lot of work ahead of us.
"We are focused on resolving the significant challenges these practices have been facing, including difficulties with the appointment booking system and general GP recruitment.
"It will take time to transform these services but we will be making changes which we are sure will improve the experience of the 30,000 people registered with these practices.
"We have decided to bring together GP, community and hospital services, because this is a great opportunity to provide care which feels more joined up for patients."
