Fans awaiting the arrival of Football Manager 2020 do not have much longer to wait (indeed some may have picked up the Beta version)
While you may wish to go one of Europe's giants with an endless budget, many also want to try and take their favourite team to glory.
We take a look at the starting transfer budget, media expectation and wage budget of all clubs in Scotland's top flight.
Aberdeen
The Dons are expected to be challenging for European qualification with a 3rd place finish in FM2020. However, managers will need to do it on a shoestring with a transfer budget of 400k. While this is a decent budget in comparison to some clubs in the Premiership, the available wage budget of just 5.26k means it could be difficult getting players through the door without getting rid of some elsewhere.
Celtic
Unsurprisingly, the 8-in-a-row champions are expected to go on to make it 9 with the club expecting silverware from the get-go. And even with the added deadline day signings and loanees, players will still have a generous budget of £12.5m with 32.5k in wages. Enough for a marquee signing? Perhaps.
Hamilton
The writing is on the wall for Hamilton in this FM edition with the club predicted to finish bottom of the league. With a focus on youth and the club looking to build on from narrowly avoiding relegation last season, managers will have £50k to spend with £2k in wages. Perhaps a turn to youth could be the key?
Hearts
While it may have been a difficult start for Hearts this season, a manager at Hearts is predicted to lead the team to 4th place. With a large squad of players, there is still a healthy transfer budget of £506k. Sadly the wage budget doesn't have as much wiggle room with just £1k available.
Hibernian
Again, it's a similar story for this Edinburgh club, with Hibernian expected to have a different season to the one they are currently enjoying. The Edinburgh club are expected to make the split and finish 5th in the league. There is no wage or transfer budget available, however, and a director of football is also in place.
Kilmarnock
Celebrating their 150th season, a manager at Kilmarnock may try and build on the success of Steve Clarke. Following in the footsteps of the now-Scotland manager, players have a budget of £91.5k and an available wage budget of £1.23k. With many news faces already at the club, however, perhaps the budget may go untouched?
Livingston
After finishing 9th last season, players may struggle to push Livingston on with a media prediction of 9th once more. The Lothian outfit have a limited youth recruitment offering on the game and with no transfer budget or wage budget available this certainly is a tough task for players.
Motherwell
The Steelmen have shown that they are capable of mixing with the best this season, with the side drawing praise for their style of play and attacking flair. Despite their assured start the team are expected to finish 6th in FM20, but with £5k in the transfer kitty and £1.1k available on wages, you may need to rely on the players already at your disposal.
Rangers
For Rangers managers on FM20, it is all about one thing, stopping Celtic. Predicted to finish 2nd by the media, the aims of the club are to compete and try and win the Scottish Premiership. With a budget of £1.8m and a wage budget of £16.01k available, managers may need to splash the cash wisely to compete.
Ross Country
Newly promoted Ross County topped the Championship the previous season, and if you fancy taking the new boys in their first season you'll have a tidy sum of £150k and £3.36k in wages. The loanee market and some careful wheeling and dealing may make all the difference if you are to finish above the media-predicted 11th.
St Johnstone
It hasn't been the ideal start for the Saints this season so far, but with a predicted finish of 8th players will have a budget of £100k and a decent wage budget of £5.22k to maybe bring in that additional player that could make all the difference.
St Mirren
While they faced a relegation dogfight last season, the Buddies are very much expected to be in the bottom half of the table. With a transfer budget of £60k and a wage budget of £2k it'll take some wheeling and dealing to try and push beyond 10th place for the Paisley side.
