THERE are reports that a water buffalo has been spooked by fireworks and escaped.
East Sussex Wildlife Rescue said: “We are getting reports that a water buffalo has escaped its field near Sevenoaks Road in Langney after being frightened by fireworks.
“Locals are trying to contact the school for help.
"Please be careful if you are in that area. Tonight is going to be a difficult night for our wildlife and pets.”
