A TEENAGER robbed another teenager at knifepoint in Royal Wootton Bassett.

The victim is a 16-year-old boy who was in the Daisy Brook area, near the Premier shop between 2pm and 4pm on Wednesday October 30.

Another teenager wearing a balaclava approached him, took out a knife and asked the victim what he had on him.

The victim handed over a £10 note and the young robber ran off towards the Premier.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 5 ft 7 tall, of slim build and aged around 16.

He had short, mousey brown hair and a swept over fringe. He was wearing a balaclava at the time, as well as a black puffer jacket and black shoes.

PC Gareth Snoad said: “This incident happened in broad daylight in a residential area, and was no doubt very frightening for the victim.

"We would urge anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the incident, or anyone who may recognise the description of the suspect to get in touch. To jog people’s memory, this happened the day before Halloween. If you are able to help, please get in touch.”
