Bedroom wrecked by fire at The Poplars in Littlehampton
FIRE Crews tackled a bedroom fire.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) were called to a house in The Poplars in Littlehampton on Monday afternoon.
The bedroom was almost destroyed by the fire with smoke and heat damage to most of the rest of the home.
Firefighters from Littlehampton, Worthing and Bognor attended.
A spokesman for WSFRS said: "Crews tackled a bedroom fire at a house in The Poplars, Littlehampton using hose-reel jets and breathing apparatus this afternoon.
"The bedroom was 75 per cent fire damaged and there was smoke and heat damage to 70 per cent of the rest of the home."
