THE case against Earl of Cardigan, David Brudenell-Bruce, will be reopened after he appealed his conviction for careless driving, driving without insurance and failing to report an accident.
The Earl was involved in a motorcycling accident on the day of his court case in September, meaning he was unable to attend.
He pleaded not guilty to all charges at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, and will face trial again at Salisbury Crown Court on January 29.
Earl Cardigan was originally fined £2,126 and had six penalty points put on his licence after being charged with driving into a nurse’s car.
