TARGETS to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on Wiltshire roads have been missed.
The Collision Reduction Policy aim was to see a 40 per cent reduction in killed or seriously injured people from 2005 by average until 2020. The target is 162 but last year 200 were involved on roads across the country. Figures, based on Police Accident Data will be discussed by the environment Committee at Wiltshire Council on Tuesday (Nov 5) Council officers said: "The increase continues to be a concern."
