A VAN driver aged in his 60s died today in a road crash near Goatacre, near Calne.
Police were called to The Green at around 11.20am (28/10) following a report that a van had collided with a wall.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "His next of kin has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time."
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the accident and for anyone who who may have seen the van before the crash or has dash cam footage.
The police spokesman said: "It was a white Ford Transit van, which was travelling northbound on the A3102 before it left the road.
"Anyone with information should call Wiltshire Police’s Collision Investigation Unit on 01380 861049 and ask to speak to PC Pete Williamson. You should quote log 116 of today (28/10).
