A DRIVER has been reported for having no valid insurance and driving with a provisional licence. Police stopped a vehicle in Market Place, Melksham, on October 19. The vehicle was seized.

A VEHICLE declared with the DVLA as being 'off road' was seized after a police stop-check on the A350 at Melksham on October 14. The driver was reported.
Wild driving
DRIVING all over the road on the A350 at Melksham on October 18 has cost a driver the vehicle. Police seized it after they found the driver had no insurance.
Generator stolen
A BRIGHT orange Honda generator was stolen from a narrow boat on the Kennet & Avon Canal at Sells Green, Seend, Melksham, between 10am-12 noon on October16.
Church lead nicked
THIEVES stole lead from the roof of St Andrew's Church, in Church Lane, Melksham, between October 12-17. It resulted in rain damage within the church.
Assault arrest
A MAN in his 30s from the Melksham area has been released under police investigation after an incident in Woodcombe, Melksham, at 00.20am on October 20 when police were called to a disorder. The offender left the scene in a car but was later stopped and arrested on suspicion of assault.
