ARMY Cadets from Wiltshire have been appointed as Lord Lieutenant Cadets to the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Rose Troughton.
Gaining this appointment is seen as one of the highest achievements in the cadet forces.
Cadet Sergeant Major Shyan Barber-McLean joined aged 12 was promoted to Sergeant before her 14th birthday.
Cadet Sergeant Major Ashley Nuccio completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award with the Army Cadet Force and is on the way to completion of the Silver Award
Commandant, Col Britt Haggerty said ‘I am delighted to see these two fine young cadets appointed as Lord Lieutenant’s Cadets. They both set the highest standards and are exemplary role models to the younger cadets in Wiltshire.
They were appointed at a ceremony on October 14.
