A NATIONAL chain opened their second Wiltshire lodge in Chippenham as it aims to expand to two more towns in the county.
Travelodge unveiled their new hotel on Foundry Lane on Friday which will create 50 jobs in the town.
Mayor of Chippenham, Desna Allen said: ‘‘I have been aware for some time that the town’s hotels have not been able to meet the demand for overnight accommodation. It is with particular pleasure that I welcome this addition to the provision for our increasing number of visitors."
Travelodge are also looking to open two new hotels in Malmesbury and Marlborough.
