A FITNESS group in Chippenham gave back to charity while also challenging themselves at the annual Pretty Muddy obstacle course.
Fast Forward FitCamp, based in Stanley Park, raised £1,580 for Cancer Research when the 20 fitness fans crawled, ran and jumped their way through the 5km Bath racetrack course.
The outdoor exercise group was set up by Army bomb disposal diver Jad Orwin in June 2018.
He said: "The day of the Pretty Muddy race started off pretty grim and with rain and wind none of us wanted to get out of our cars!
"As we stood around waiting to start we were reminded why we were there. We gathered our thoughts and prayers for friends and loved ones we’ve lost to cancer.
"We started as a team and finished as a team. This was a brilliant experience I will hold very close to my heart for the rest of my life."
The group also raised £800 for Help for Heroes earlier this year when they did the Romsey Relay Marathon.
