BOTH Warrington's MPs backed an amendment that could delay Brexit again in a vote in Parliament this afternoon, Saturday.
Parliament has been sitting for the first time in 37 years on a Saturday.
It was due to vote on Prime Minister Boris Johnson's deal with the EU which was agreed on Thursday.
But that vote will now take place next week after MPs back an amendment calling for any exit to be delayed until the necessary UK legislation to leave the EU has been passed.
The amendment won with 322 votes to 306.
It could signal a further delay to Brexit.
Both Warrington North MP Helen Jones and Warrington South MP Faisal Rashid voted yes on the amendment.
The Prime Minister says he will press ahead despite the defeat.
Mr Rashid said he would have voted against the new deal, calling for a new referendum.
