NO one has yet been arrested in connection with a shooting in Tilehurst, police have confirmed.
Thames Valley Police responded to reports of gunshots being fired in Laytom Rise, Tilehurst, around 3.35am on Wednesday (October 16).

A 40-year-old man admitted himself to hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to his shoulder, but has since been discharged.

There had been reports of nearby schools being told to go on "lockdown", however Downsway Primary School confirmed they were not involved in this.
A police scenewatch remains in place at this time.
