DEVIZES community stalwart Philippa Morgan and her sister put their general knowledge to the test when they took part in TV quiz Pointless.

Ms Morgan, who is a leading member of The Trust For Devizes, and her sister Janet Neilson from Wales, had two attempts at making it to the final but pop music proved to be a stumbling block.

But they found presenters Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman just as funny in real life as they are when seen on TV.

Ms Morgan said: “Alexander and Richard are very funny in real life, very much as you see them on TV.

“The whole day was a lot of fun. We spent some time in the Green Room with the other contestants and got to know them quite well.

“The atmosphere was very convivial which meant that everyone was pretty relaxed on the set. I was more nervous waiting for the programme to start when it was aired on Thursday.” Ms Morgan’s partner Dec McSweeney and friend Roz Ambler have also been filmed and will be screened in coming weeks.
