BARCLAYS bank users will not be able to withdraw cash over the counter at Malmesbury Post Office from January 2020.
This comes after an agreement between the UK’s 28 largest banks meaning that customers can use the Post Office for their banking needs.
However Barclays bank users only will not be able to withdraw cash at any Post Office branch from January 8, an issue that particularly affects Malmesbury as its Barclays branch is closed down.
Customers of Barclays, and other banks, will still be able to deposit cash and cheques, and check their balance over the counter at their local Post Office.
