TWO teenagers were arrested in Devizes this morning after police got a call to say a burglary was in progress.

Officers have now released a CCTV image of two other people they would like to speak to.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 9.23am today to a break-in in progress at an address in Moyne Close, Devizes.

"It is not believed that anything was stolen.

Officers attended and two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. They are currently in custody at Melksham Police Station.

"We have now released a CCTV image which shows two people we would like to speak to in connection with the incident."

PC Chris Miller, from Wiltshire East Community Policing Team, said: “We responded to this emergency call swiftly and were at the scene within minutes, meaning we could make two arrests.

“However, we are now appealing for the public’s help in identifying the two people in the CCTV image.

“We would also like to reassure residents that we will not tolerate these types of crimes and that we will work quickly to arrest and bring offenders to justice.”
