COMPANIES and groups are being challenged to test their endurance in a 12-hour Spinathon that will raise money for two charities.

The event on November 16, is being organised by Route2Fitness gym on the Hopton Industrial estate in Devizes in aid of the Wiltshire Community Foundation’s Surviving Winter campaign.

The campaign gives £300 grants to vulnerable people living in fuel poverty the cycle will also support Devizes and District Foodbank.

Entry costs £300 per team and Route2Fitness owner Nick Holmes is hoping companies and groups will enter teams for the challenge, which will run from 7am to 7pm.

“It’ll be a great test of fitness and it will really help the community,” he said.

Foodbank trustee Richard Oliver said: “We are very grateful for this support, it’s very generous and it allows us to keep providing this vital service.”
