Two teenagers are in hospital after a knife attack in Warminster yesterday.

Police were called to the serious assault outside Chapmanslade Village Hall at around midnight on Saturday.

A 17-year-old boy suffered a stab wound to his leg and is currently being treated at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

An 18-year-old man is also being treated at the Royal United Hospital in Bath for facial injuries.

At this stage no arrests have been made.

Det Insp Tom Straker, from Wiltshire Police, said: "This appears to be a dispute between people who are known to each other, which escalated and resulted in two people being injured.

"Those involved had been attending a party at the village hall and there were a large number of people in attendance, many of whom will have information which could assist with our enquiries.

"If you witnessed something or know something about what happened last night then please call us."
