HEALTH commissioning groups across Wiltshire, Swindon and BaNES are set to merge together, creating one larger clinical commissioning body.

The move, if approved, will see the one group oversee NHS clinical commissioning groups with a £1.1bn budget and nearly one million people across the counties.

GPs across all three areas have voted in favour fo the change.

Now the bid has been submitted to NHS England for confirmation of the change. If approved they will merge next year.
