Court appearance

JACK Garnett, 35, from Trowbridge, will appear before Salisbury Magistrates Court on Friday, October 4 after police stopped a vehicle in Stallard Street, Trowbridge, at 2.10am on September 15. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was subsequently arrested. Mr Garnett has been charged with a drink-driving offence, possession of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class B controlled drug, using a motor vehicle without an MOT, and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

Men arrested

THREE men aged 28, 32 and 32 have been released under police investigation after officer attended a disorder in Trowbridge Town Park at 9.45pm on September 15. The men were arrested

on suspicion of assault. One of the men was also found in possession of a knife and was further arrested for possession of a bladed article.

Computer stolen

A COMPUTER was stolen from a property in Lower Court, Trowbridge

between September 11 and 12 September. The external doors were damaged to gain entry.

Further enquiries

A 31-year-old has been released under investigation pending further enquiries after he was arrested when police were called at 5am on September 13 to reports of a man acting suspiciously. The male was located, and it was identified that he had damaged a number of windows and doors in the Charles Street area of Trowbridge.

Attempted theft

AN owner disturbed someone trying to steal a vehicle in Forest Walk, Chapmanslade, at 11.10pm on Tuesday, September 17. The yob smashed one of the vehicle windows.

Toolbox nicked

A DRILL toolbox was stolen from the edge of a driveway in Langholm Avenue, Warminster, at 5.23pm on Wednesday, September 18.

Cannabis found

A woman in Masefield Road, Warminster, was found on Thursday to have a large amount of cannabis plants in her back garden.
