THE BBC is to broadcast live from Devizes on September 29 when the Bishop of Salisbury is present to mark Creationtide and to highlight environmental issues.
BBC Radio 4 will be at St John’s Church for the service which starts at 8.10am. Rt Rev Nicholas Holtam, who is the church’s lead Bishop on environmental issues, will be the preacher.
St John’s own clergy and choir will lead much of the service and it will include an award-winning composition by the church ‘s director of music, Chris Totney.
Everyone is welcome to join the service but people are asked to take their seats by 7.45am. The show will go out live.
