There was a cottage fire this week in Wiltshire
Firefighters are warning people living near a landfill site to keep their windows closed after they were called to an incident just after 7am today.
A spokesman for fire control in Wiltshire said: "Please be aware we are currently dealing with an incident in Compton Bassett involving the landfill site.
"If you live locally please keep your windows closed and we will update as soon as we can."
The landfill site, near Calne, is run by Hills Waste.
