CRICKLADE Town hit a perfect 10 in the Wiltshire League Premier Division on Saturday as they thrashed Pewsey Vale Development 10-3 courtesy of a dominant performance on the road.

Star of the show was Jonathan Peachey-Score with a double hat-trick, while Jason Tatum bagged a brace and there was one goal each for Tom Arliss and Craig Kent.

All three of Pewsey’s goals were scored by Taylor Edwards.

Elsewhere, early leaders Kintbury Rangers extended their 100 per cent record to a third game following a 3-1 win at Frome Collegians.

Rangers were forced to come from behind to secure another three points, though, with Ross Knapton firing Collegians ahead at half-time.

A much-improved second-half display saw Kintbury draw level on the scoreboard through Shaun Thorp.

Josh Davis then put Rangers ahead and Thorp sealed the win with his second goal of the afternoon late on.

Purton sit second in the standings with seven points from three games after having to make do with a 1-1 draw from their visit to Melksham Town Reserves.

Sam English netted for Purton to break the deadlock before Harvey Flippance replied for the home side.

Reigning champions Wroughton also still have a 100 per cent record this season, although they have only played twice.

Shane Hibbert scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to secure a 1-0 victory at Corsham Town Reserves at the weekend.

Jake Watson struck twice as Shrewton United put in a five-star performance to romp to an emphatic 5-0 success at Stratton Juniors.

Steve Holvey, Saul Johnson and Alistair Carvel also netted to complete the rout.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development also found their shooting boots as they roared to a 4-0 success away at Ludgershall Sports.

Jack Sanderson struck twice to put Bassett 2-0 up at the break before Nick Mason and Logan Plumley followed him onto the scoresheet in the second half.

Marlborough Town held firm to claim a 2-1 victory at home to Trowbridge Town to end the hosts’ 16-match unbeaten run.

Aaron Presley broke the deadlock with a penalty before Luke Connolly doubled the advantage before the break.

Although Aaron Masson reduced the arrears for Trowbridge in the second half, Marlborough dug deep to prevent the hosts netting an equaliser.

Finally, Holt and Malmesbury Victoria Development shared a 0-0 draw.
