THE Brexit Party has announced that Dan Day-Robinson has been chosen as its candidate for the Devizes constituency.
He has family roots in Wiltshire and is ready to contest the constituency, which has Claire Perry as its sitting MP, at the next general election.
He said: “I am astonished to find myself entering into the world of politics. I never had any intention to pursue this path but I feel Parliament has let us down,
“We now need to stand up for democracy and to respect the vote to leave the European Union.
“With an outward looking internationalist perspective, for which the UK has always been renowned, Brexit is a bright new dawn, and opportunity to build a dynamic exciting future making the country fit for the 21st century.” Until recently has been running a not-for-profit company.
