MALMESBURY Abbey has installed a new exhibition, which pays tribute to the medieval illustrated Bible that is also on display there.
French artist, Benoit Cazelles has created pieces of artwork on parchment, finished with gold.
These designs are similar to the ones seen in the 15th century Bible. Cazelles also was sure to mimic the monks who created their Bible by using the same tools, techniques and materials.
He is based in France so the exhibition is being supervised by his sister, who works at the Abbey.
The exhibition runs throughout August in the Abbey, open daily from 9.30am - 5pm.
