THE family of Devizes woman Jackie Hale, who died from cancer aged 52, are to hold a family fun day to mark the 10th anniversary of her death and to raise money in her memory.
Mrs Hale, who lived in Coate near Devizes, was given stem cell treatment at Bristol Children’s Hospital as at the time it was the only hospital offering the service.
Now her children Julia, 33, and Ed, 38, want to raise money for its oncology unit by holding the event at Bradford on Avon Rugby Club on August 31 from 1pm. Mr Hale and Julia's partner Brad Wilson, 36 will be having their legs waxed. Go to www.justgiving.com/teams/team-ouch
