THOUSANDS of world music fans travelled to Wiltshire over the weekend for WOMAD.
Organisers expected to be a sell-out crowd, with almost 40,000 partygoers flocking to Charlton Park, near Malmesbury.
As well as the usual line-up of musicians from across the globe, this year’s festival saw climate campaigners Extinction Rebellion create a massive crop circle by the site.
The Extinction Rebellion group said it was using the symbol to draw attention to climate chaos.
The circle – a massive 300ft wide version of the movement’s logo – followed a similar stunt at Glastonbury earlier this summer.
