THE Richard Jones Foundation, which assists young people with the expense of books, equipment and training, is the Mayor's Charity of the Year for 2019 in Royal Wootton Bassett.
Mayor Steve Watts was delighted at the encouraging response to an excellent event at The Cross Keys, where people of all ages filled the garden for several hours of entertainment, with bands, dancers and refreshments. Throughout the afternoon, classic cars were displayed at the Town Hall precinct, as an additional attraction.
