Justin Tomlinson's Summer Activities Fair was held at the Orbital on Saturday.
The event invites families with kids of all ages to come and have a look at the different types of clubs and activities that they could get involved in over the summer.
Throughout the day a variety of groups including NIBAS Rock Climbing, Guides, Swindon Robins and Draycott Sports Camp.
During the day Justin Tomlinson said: “We’ve had really good feedback from parents and children over the last two years and this is the biggest one we’ve done so far.
“It’s just a real wide range of different clubs and organisations that provide constructive activities for kids over the summer holidays and beyond.
“It’s just a brilliant opportunity for everyone to see slightly different things and to get involved.
“This is the event that is focused on the summer holidays and it’s warmly received by parents and children.
“The main opportunity is for people to see different clubs and organisations that perhaps they weren’t aware of or didn’t realise they catered for children and each of the clubs are looking for new recruits and they will showcase their summer camps and other activities that they do.
“Every year more and more people ask to come along, there’s absolutely no charge, we’ll be doing the same thing next year and if there’s a group out there who thinks they’d like to take part then they’re very very welcome.”
One stall that proved to be popular was the Draycott Sports Camp which offers sports camps over the summer for children.
Kirsty Baker, administration manager for Draycott Sports Camp, said: "We come to this event to show off our camps, obviously it's our busiest time of the year and we want to attract as many children to join as we can."
