POLICE in Chippenham are investigating a disorder which occurred in the Pewsham area earlier this month.
At around 11.30pm on Friday, July 5, officers received a report of a large number of people fighting outside the Old Lane pub, in Lodge Road.
During the incident, a 20-year-old man from Calne sustained injuries to his jaw, teeth and ear, which required reconstruction surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
A second man also attended hospital with concussion.
Det Con Lauren Barnard, of Central CID, said: “A large number of people were involved in this disorder and we know several were injured.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have information in relation to this incident, and anyone who was involved who has not yet spoken to police.”
