THE third of this year’s series of annual challenge walks saw over 160 walkers take to Lacock.
Wiltshire Council's Get Wiltshire Walking scheme encourages people to be active while exploring the beauty our county has to offer.
Routes offered extensive views of the village and surrounding countryside, and two of the walks took the participants away from Lacock, into neighbouring Reybridge, and then up some steep challenging hills to enjoy more extensive views.
Cabinet member for leisure, Cllr Allison Bucknell said: “We live in a beautiful county and there are many gorgeous towns and villages to explore on foot.
"The Get Wiltshire Walking initiative is a fantastic one to be involved with, as along with taking in the stunning countryside, they are great social events with enormous health and wellbeing benefits."
The starter walk was 1.5 miles and attracted 30 people who went through the village.
