A FIRE and rescue crew went to the aid of a man who had become stuck on a steep bank along with his pet dog.
On Monday, July 8, at 3:40pm they were called to help the man who was in difficulty off Pewsham Way, Pewsham, Chippenham.
They said a pumping appliance and a rope rescue team from Chippenham rescued "an adult male and his dog from down an embankment near the Blackwell Hams Sewage Treatment Plant."
