A MAN viciously attacked by thugs outside a pub in Wiltshire the night of the Champions League Final suffered head injuries.
The incident in Marlborough on June 1, was witnessed by many people say police and they are seeking assistance in identifying a man on CCTV.
At approximately 11.25pm on Saturday 1 June 2019, the victim, a 42-year-old man, was outside the White Harte Public House - also known as the Conservative club - when he was assaulted.
He sustained head injuries which required hospital treatment.
An appeal was released last month in relation to the incident and two men, aged 25 and 41, have been interviewed under caution in relation to the incident.
Police are now appealing for the public’s help in identifying the man pictured in the CCTV image.
They believe there were a large number of witnesses to the incident at the time – it happened after the Champions League Final between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
