TWO rare cars have been loaned to Calne's Atwell Wilson Motor Museum, Calne bringing a slice of the past to life.
The classic vehicles come from the British Motor Musuem and are a 1910 Austin 7hp, making it the oldest car on show and probably the only survivor of the 162 Austin-badged single-cylinder models produced between 1909 and 1911.
From a couple of decades later the second car is a 1936 MG NB Magnette, which was the last of the classic pre-war 6 cylinder overhead camshaft MG models.
Graham Smith, a director of the museum said the cars added to the width and quality of the collection.
