A PROPERTY in Devizes has been raided by police this morning where drugs were found.
The officers from the Community Tasking Team carried out a drugs warrant in Devizes this morning at approximately 8am today (June 20), at an address in White Horse Way.
The warrant was issued under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Inside the property, they found suspected cannabis and drugs paraphernalia including scales and grinders as well as mobile phones.
Sgt Pete Foster said: “This warrant was conducted following intelligence we had received that drug activity was taking place at the address.
“Following this morning’s warrant, we have seized a quantity of class B drugs, believed to be cannabis, and our enquiries remain ongoing. No arrests have been made at this stage.
“It’s really important that the public feel confident in reporting any suspected drug activity in their neighbourhood to us.”
