THUNDERSTORMS will hit Swindon later this week, the Met Office has warned.
The forecaster has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms from 6pm on Tuesday to 9pm on Wednesday.
The storms could bring torrential rain, hail and lightning, with a small chance of flash flooding and power cuts.
Meteorologist Simon Partridge said: "There is the potential for some thundery and heavy rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"A little bit of uncertainty about when it will arrive but it will be pushing in from the south and will leave from north-east England.
"England and Wales will have spells of heavy and thundery rain."
Temperatures are expected to hit 16C on Tuesday and 17C on Wednesday.
